Compatible Phones

1/ Currently NoiseTube Mobile only exists as a Java (J2ME MIDP) application.
2/ to get accurate measurements, our algorithm needs to be "calibrated" for each phone models (because each model has a different microphone and specific hardware and software).

Currently the application works and has been calibrated for the following phones models:

Sony Ericsson W995
Nokia N96
Nokia N95 8GB
Nokia N85
Nokia E65
Nokia 5800

Each download contains two files: a .jar (the actual application) and a .jad (a descriptor). You need both to properly install the application on your phone.
A User Guide is also included in those files.

Changes since v1.5.x and earlier: lot's of fixes and improvements made in preparation of NoiseTube demostration during Sony CSL Open House 2009 (e.g. better support for Sony Ericsson).
